Dacoit: The Love Story wants to hit hard. Intensity, emotion, swagger — the whole package. But it doesn’t land as one thing. Instead, it feels uneven. Overstuffed, honestly. Big intentions, but a misfire in the end.
There’s this indie conversational drama mentioned too. Digs deep, supposedly. But struggles to hold you in. Engagement is the problem there.
Then there’s another film — the one that captures how people buy into hope and miracles. Drawn by the promise of a better future. That part works, if you look closely.

Ek Din has an unconventional concept. But the romantic setup? Fairly conventional. Odd couple finding love. Contrived plot points here and there. Still makes for a decent watch, especially if you’re into heartfelt romances.
Ginny Weds Sunny 2 had promise. A few sincere moments too. But uneven writing and underwhelming romance keep it from becoming engaging. Kind of frustrating, really.
The last one mentioned — watch it for its sincere take on a difficult choice. Handled with warmth. Grounded performances. Those too matter.
So yeah, the reviews are all over the place. Some sincere, some exhausting. Films with big ideas that don’t always come together.
