The busy schedule of Shah Rukh Khan, the star of the upcoming film “King”, has kept him in the spotlight lately. However, a new story from the set of a different project has drawn attention, not because of the film itself but because of a candid chat that unfolded between Khan and a fellow actor.
Vejant Kohli, who appeared in “The Bad Boys of Bollywood”, told Entertainment Live about an incident involving Khan. He said the story happened during a large birthday celebration for actress Gauri Khan at Shah Rukh’s home. Kohli was there, but his daughter Miaura, a big fan of the actor, couldn’t attend due to an exam.
At about 3:30 AM Kohli called Khan to ask if his daughter might still be awake. “Can we FaceTime her?” he asked. Before Kohli could go ahead, Shah Rukh stopped him. “Do not call a woman directly on camera,” he said. “First ask if she feels comfortable.” Kohli, following the advice, called his wife Reena and told her about the upcoming call. The next hour, at 4 AM, Shah Rukh himself video‑called Miaura.
The incident, revealed in an interview, shows a side of the star that is often unseen, focused on respect and proper conduct even in the most private moments. It also sparked conversation about how celebrities manage their personal boundaries while keeping fans close.
