Hapur-Pilkhuwa Development Authority (HPDA) has acquired land for Haripur Awasiya Yojana in Chaksainpur alias Babugarh. The authority gave compensation cheques of Rs 12 crore to four farmers. The scheme will provide modern residential facilities to the residents of Hapur and NCR region. Under the scheme, acquisition of 22 hectares of land is proposed and farmers will be given proper compensation.

This is one of the ambitious schemes of HPDA. Under the scheme, the first registry process was completed on Tuesday by acquiring the land. During this, compensation cheques of Rs 12 crore have been handed over to four farmers living in the village by the authority.
New housing scheme started after 20 years
Vice President of the Authority Dr. Nitin Gaur said that by completing the first registry for the scheme, cheques of Rs 12 crore have been given to Gajab Singh, Mahendra Singh, Narendra Singh and Sompal Singh, residents of the village, in lieu of land.
