Haryana Circle Rate Hike: Property prices in Haryana may increase soon. The state government has increased the circle rate in the state. This new rate will come into effect from August 1, 2025. The changes in the new rate will increase by 5 percent to 25 percent depending on the place. State CM Naib Singh Saini has signed the increased circle rate. Let us tell you that the circle rate is also called collector rates.

People in areas adjoining Delhi like Gurugram, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh will have to pay more fees for land registration. The reason for this is that the property rates here are higher than other cities. After the Chief Minister’s approval, appointments are no longer being given for new registration in tehsils. Only those properties will be registered for which appointments have already been booked.

Know what is the circle rate
Circle rate is the minimum price at which a land or property can be sold. Land cannot be sold at a price lower than this. This circle rate is decided by the district administration. Market rates depend on demand and supply, but circle rates are legally fixed. With the increase in circle rate, the price of the house or plot will increase.

The collector rate keeps changing from time to time. Last year, due to the Lok Sabha and then the assembly elections, the collector rates were increased from 1 December 2024 instead of 1 April 2024. After that, the increase in the collector rate was postponed from 1 April 2025, which is now being increased.

State Finance Commissioner Sumita Mishra (FCR) had given indications a few days ago by issuing a letter. She had clearly said that the government has decided to implement the new collector rate, but before finalizing it, it will complete the process like making the list of collector rates public and inviting objections and suggestions from the general public.
