Western Railway has announced some special trains that will ply through Gujarat. These special trains will be run at special fares for the convenience of the general public during Rakshabandhan, Independence Day and Janmashtami.
Western Railway has announced some special trains passing through Gujarat. According to the information shared by Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek, Western Railway has decided to run special trains at special fares between Bandra Terminus-Okha and Bandra Terminus-Sanganer stations for the convenience of the general public during Rakshabandhan, Independence Day and Janmashtami.
According to the press release shared by Western Railway, the details of these trains are as follows. Train No. 09077/09078 Bandra Terminus – Okha Special (4 trips), Train No. 09077 Bandra Terminus-Okha Special will depart from Bandra Terminus at 21.20 hrs on Thursday and Sunday and reach Okha at 16.45 hrs the next day. This train will run on 14th and 17th August.
Similarly, train number 09078 Okha-Bandra Terminus Special will leave Okha at 08.20 on Saturday and Tuesday and reach Bandra Terminus at 04.00 the next day. This train will run on 16 and 19 August. This train will stop at Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Dwarka stations in both directions.
This train will have AC 2-tier, AC-3 tier, sleeper class and second class general coaches. Train number 09023/09024 Bandra Terminus – Sanganer Superfast Special (4 trips), train number 09023 Bandra Terminus – Sanganer Superfast Special will depart from Bandra Terminus on Thursday at 16.45 hrs and reach Sanganer the next day at 12.30 hrs. This train will run on August 7 and 14.
Similarly, train number 09024 Sanganer-Bandra Terminus Superfast Special will depart from Sanganer at 16.50 on Friday and reach Bandra Terminus at 11.15 the next day. This train will run on 8 and 15 August.
This train will stop at Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Chowmahala, Shamgarh, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota and Sawai Madhopur stations in both directions. This train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper class and general second class coaches. Booking for train numbers 09077, 09078 and 09023 will start from August 3 at PRS counters and IRCTC website.
