Age Limit for Ladki Bahin Yojana

There is an age limit for availing the benefits of Maharashtra’s Ladki Bahin Yojana. Women between the ages of 21 and 65 can avail the benefits. However, if you are under 21, you will not be eligible for this scheme.

The government has sent 11 installments.

The Maharashtra government promised to provide women with ₹1,500 under this scheme. So far, every woman has received ₹16,500 under the Ladki Behen Yojana. To benefit from this scheme, the combined annual income of the woman and her husband or father must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.

The government has changed some rules.

Whether central or state governments implement schemes to help the poor and economically disadvantaged, the benefits often don’t reach the right people. Many women are also taking advantage of Maharashtra’s Ladki Behen Yojana using forged documents. To prevent this, the government recently changed some rules. Previously, only women were required to complete their own KYC, but now, if a woman is married,

she must also complete her husband’s e-KYC, and if she is not married, she must also complete her father’s e-KYC. E-KYC will help determine family income. If their income does not meet the conditions of the scheme, their name will be removed from the scheme.
