Maharashtra: In the presence of Devendra Fadnavis, an agreement worth Rs 5127 crore was signed between the Maharashtra Government and XSIO Logistics Parks and Horizon Industrial Parks (Blackstone Group).

Mumbai: In the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, an important MoU was signed today between the Maharashtra Government and Blackstone Group’s XSIO Logistics Parks and Horizon Industrial Parks. The agreement was signed between Industries Secretary Dr. P. Anbalgan and Horizon Industrial Parks Chairman R. K. Narayanan at the Sahyadri State Guest House.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde , Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Ashwini Bhide, MIDC Chief Executive Officer P. Velarasu, Deputy Secretary Laxmikant Dhoke, Blackstone Advisors Pvt. Ltd. Senior Managing Director Tuhin Parikh, Blackstone Advisors Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director Alok Jain, XSIO Logistics Parks Managing Director Ashish Agarwal and others were present.

This MoU will be signed for the development of modern logistics and industrial parks in major industrial and multimodal logistics sectors of the state. As per this MoU, more than 10 modern industrial and logistics parks will be set up in Maharashtra. The land area for this is 794.2 acres. Out of this, 1.85 crore sq. ft. of land will be constructed. The total foreign direct investment in all these projects is ₹5127 crore. This agreement will create a total of 27510 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

These logistics parks will be developed at key locations like Nagpur, Bhiwandi, Chakan, Khandwa, Sinnar, Panvel. These projects will be eco-friendly, have digital infrastructure, promote employment generation, and will be in line with the Maharashtra Logistics Policy 2024.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed confidence that this transformational partnership is a step towards creating world-class, environmentally, socially and governance-friendly industrial and logistics hubs in Nagpur , Mumbai , Pune and other locations, and will create a strong infrastructure for manufacturing, warehousing and supply chain excellence in India.
