When will the 20th installment arrive?
The 19th installment of this scheme was released in February 2025. At that time, about Rs 22,000 crore was sent to the accounts of farmers across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The installments are disbursed every three months. Therefore, the 20th installment is likely to be received by the end of June. However, the official date of this installment has not been announced yet.
It is mandatory to complete e-KYC.
The government has clarified that if any farmer does not complete e-KYC, the installment can be withheld. To do e-KYC, you can complete the process with the help of OTP on the official website pmkisan.gov.in. Also, if the online facility is not available, then you will have to go to the nearest CSC (Common Service Center) center and do biometric e-KYC.
How to check beneficiary status?
- First of all, visit the website www.pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘Know Your Status’ link on the right side.
- Enter the registration number and captcha code.
- After clicking on the ‘Get Data’ button, your status will appear on the screen.
- How to check your name in the beneficiary list
- Open the ‘Beneficiary List’ section on the website.
- Fill in the information of the state, district, taluka and village and click on the ‘Get Report’ button.
- A list of all beneficiaries in that village will appear. Find your name in it.
What are the eligibility conditions?
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- There should be arable land in his name.
- Only small and marginal farmers are eligible.
- Government employees or pensioners are not covered by this scheme.
How to make a new application?
- Go to the portal pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on the option ‘New Farmer Registration’.
- Fill in Aadhaar number, captcha and other details.
- After filling the form, click ‘Submit’ and take a printout of it.
