Maharashtra Weather News: The weather has once again become favorable for rain in Maharashtra. It is raining in many parts of the state. Rain accompanied by strong winds in Thane has made the weather pleasant. People have got relief from the humid heat. The Meteorological Department had already issued an alert and predicted thunderstorms in many parts of the state on Thursday (05 June).
The temperature dropped due to rain accompanied by strong winds in Thane’s Bhiwandi. The drizzle brought coolness in the weather and people troubled by humidity got some relief. The movement of vehicles on the roads continues normally with slight obstruction.

Yellow alert for many districts including Thane
After a brief interruption in monsoon activities, the rain has started again in Maharashtra. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a yellow alert for the next three days in more than 30 districts including Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Nagpur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Rain with thunder and winds
According to the IMD, light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds is expected in many areas. The reason for this change in weather is the cyclonic circulation over North Gujarat and North Bangladesh, which is causing instability in the atmosphere.
The monsoon flow from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal is expected to increase again soon, which will continue the rain across the state. Winds coming from the southwest and west are bringing more moisture, due to which the rain is likely to continue in many parts.
