Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been launched. It has features like 200MP camera and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is believed that this handset of Samsung is going to give a tough competition to iPhone 17 Air.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launched: Samsung has officially introduced the most stylish model of its S25 lineup, the Galaxy S25 Edge. The thickness of this phone is only 5.8mm, which makes it very thin. It has a dual rear camera setup, with the main sensor being 200MP. This phone runs on a custom-tuned Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset specially made for Galaxy devices. It weighs only 163 grams and is made of titanium frame. Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 has been used on the front of the phone and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back, which further increases its strength.
Its price and availability:
The Galaxy S25 Edge is priced at $1,099.99 and will be available for sale from May 23, 2025. However, amid the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, the company has not yet given any information about availability in these two countries. But Samsung has confirmed that it will be launched in the Indian market through Amazon and Flipkart.

Galaxy S25 Edge display and design:
The device has a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED panel, which supports dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. This means both scrolling and power efficiency will be good. The screen is covered with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, which protects it from damage. Thanks to its lightweight titanium build and slim form, the S25 Edge is designed for users who want both beauty and portability.

The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip inside, which is also found in the standard models of the S25. Samsung has redesigned its internal cooling system, which has a thin but wide vapor chamber that improves thermal performance during intensive use. The device is IP68 rated, which protects it from dust and water.

Photography is the main focus of the S25 Edge, with a 200MP primary camera that offers 40% better low-light brightness than the base S25. It is accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus and macro photography support. On the front is a 12MP selfie camera that is optimized for clear video calls and self-portraits.
Galaxy S25 Edge software and user experience:
The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with Android 15 and One UI 7. It includes many smart features like call transcript, drawing assist and writing assist. Apart from this, Google’s Circle to Search is also integrated in it. Samsung is providing Android updates and security patches for seven years.

The device packs a 3900mAh battery that supports 25W fast wired charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging (marketed as Wireless PowerShare). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, and NFC.
