New Delhi. Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, designed to provide world-class rail service between short distance cities, is running on Ahmedabad-Bhuj route in Gujarat and Jaynagar-Patna route in Bihar. Railways have made preparations to run this magnificent train on many more routes soon. Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will also run on New Delhi-Kalka route soon.
Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is also equipped with many specialties like Vande Bharat Express train. Passengers will not only get facilities like metro train in Namo Bharat running on New Delhi-Kalka route, but the time taken for travel will also be less as compared to normal trains. Namo Bharat will cover the distance of 303 km in about four hours. With the start of Namo Bharat train, the time taken to travel from Delhi to Shimla will also be less because connecting trains are available from Shimla to Kalka.
Railways has not yet officially announced the start of operation of New Delhi-Kalka Namo Bharat train. According to a report by ET Now, this train may start soon. Namo Bharat train is likely to stop at Panipat Junction, Karnal, Kurukshetra Junction, Ambala Cantt Junction, Chandigarh and Chandi Mandir.

The New Delhi-Kalka Namo Bharat train is expected to depart from New Delhi at 6:00 am and reach Kalka at 10:00 am. On the return journey, it will leave Kalka at 5:00 pm and reach New Delhi at 9:00 pm.

The New Delhi-Kalka Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will have 16 coaches, all of which will be air conditioned. This train will be of unreserved category. The fare of the Namo Bharat train running between Patna and Jaynagar is Rs 340. The distance between these two stations is 283 km. The distance from New Delhi to Kalka is 303 km. If we look at the fare of Patna-Jaynagar Namo Bharat, then the fare of New Delhi-Kalka can be up to Rs 400.
