The blockbuster “Dhurandhar 2” will debut on JioHotstar on June 4, 2026, postponed due to IPL 2026 scheduling, with streaming starting June 5 in a raw, uncut version.
“Dhurandhar 2” skips its original OTT slot because of IPL 2026. The film will finally stream on JioHotstar from June 5, 2026.

“Dhurandhar 2”, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, opened in theatres on 19 March 2026. Two months later the film was slated for an OTT launch.
Initially the movie was set to appear on JioHotstar between 15‑16 May 2026, but the platform never confirmed the exact date. Meanwhile, the film went live on Netflix worldwide, except in India.
Now the Indian streaming date has been pushed back. “Dhurandhar 2” will arrive on JioHotstar 20 days after the IPL 2026 final, because the producers fear the tournament’s massive viewership could drown out the film’s release.
IPL 2026 concludes on 31 May 2026. JioHotstar has scheduled a grand premiere for the movie on 4 June 2026, with regular streaming starting on 5 June 2026. This release will feature the raw, uncut version.
Box‑office reports show “Dhurandhar 2” has already earned ₹1,847 crore worldwide, surpassing its 2025 predecessor, which made ₹1,300 crore. The sequel now ranks as the second‑highest‑grossing Indian film.
The cast includes Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, A.R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal and Rakesh Bedi, among others.
