The third instalment of the “Love Mocktail” franchise, titled Love Mocktail 3, is now streaming on the OTT platform ZEE5. The film brings the concluding chapter of the beloved Kannada romance drama to online viewers.
Official makers’ statement
On the film’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, the makers posted the trailer with a Kannada caption: “ಕೆಲವು ಕಥೆಗಳು ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ, ಈ ಕಥೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಗಿಲು! ‘ಲವ್ ಮಾಕ್ಟೇಲ್ 3’ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಟ್ರೇಲರ್ ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ. ಆದಿಯ ಈ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ ಕಣ್ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ Z5 ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ.” The English translation shared alongside reads: “Some stories feel close to the heart—this one goes even deeper! Storyline
Set a few years after Love Mocktail 2, the narrative follows Aditya (Darling Krishna), who is now a single father raising his adopted daughter, little Nidhi. Their everyday life is depicted as simple and content, revolving around schoolwork, bedtime stories and the support of Jagga Mummy and close friends.
The plot takes a turn when an elderly woman, Dr Shanta, arrives and claims that Nidhi is her biological granddaughter. This revelation triggers a custody dispute, forcing Aditya to protect his child while confronting unresolved aspects of his past. The film explores themes of love, pain, fear and the resolve to hold onto cherished relationships.
Cast and crew
The screenplay is co‑written by Darling Krishna, Milana Nagaraj and Yadunandan, with Krishna also directing. Production is handled by Darling Krishna and Milana Nagaraj under the banner KrissMi Films. The ensemble cast includes Milana Nagaraj, Samvrutha, Amrutha Iyengar, Dileep Raj and Shwetha Prasad.
