Maharashtra Day: On Maharashtra Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the tehsil office of Khed. The Home Minister of Maharashtra state, Hon’ble Yogesh Kadam was present as the chief guest in this program.
Maharashtra Foundation Day: Maharashtra Day is celebrated every year on 1 May. On the occasion of Maharashtra Day and Labor Day, a flag hoisting program was held at the Tehsil office of Khed. In this program, the Minister of State for Home Affairs of Maharashtra State, Hon. Yogesh Kadam was present as the chief guest.
On this occasion, he congratulated the government officials present and called for working together for the social and administrative progress of Maharashtra.
Yogesh Kadam discussed these issues
After the flag hoisting program, Minister Yogesh Kadam visited the local police station in Khed. During this, he inspected various departments of the police station.
He especially reviewed the cyber cell and cleanliness system in detail. While interacting with the police officers, he discussed issues like functioning, facilities provided to the citizens and redressal of complaints.
Gave suggestions for improvements
In view of the increase in cyber crimes, he laid special emphasis on the efficiency of the cyber department. He also expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness and management of the police station premises and also gave suggestions for some improvements.
This visit of Minister of State Yogesh Kadam has given a positive boost to the local administration and he has once again underlined the commitment of the government towards the safety of the citizens.
