Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan halted co‑actor Vijayant Kohli from video‑calling his own daughter, urging him to check her comfort first, during a party for Gauri Khan’s birthday.
Shah Rukh Khan stopped fellow actor Vijayant Kohli from calling his daughter directly on video. He insisted the child be asked if she feels comfortable first.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy shooting his upcoming movie “King”. Recent set photos of Abhishek Bachchan have been leaked, but the buzz this week isn’t about the film.
The buzz is about a story shared by actor Vijayant Kohli, who appeared in Aryan Khan’s “The Bad’s of Bollywood”. In an interview with Entertainment Live, Kohli recounted a moment where Shah Rukh intervened.
Kohli said a big party was being held at Shah Rukh’s house to celebrate Gauri Khan’s birthday. He attended the party, but his daughter Myra could not because of school exams.
“My daughter Myra is a huge fan of Shah Rukh. She wanted to meet him, but she couldn’t come to the party,” Kohli told the reporter.
Later, around 3:30 am, Kohli approached Shah Rukh and asked, “Maybe Myra is still awake. Can we FaceTime her?” Shah Rukh replied, “Don’t call any woman on camera directly. First ask if she feels comfortable.”
Following that, Kohli called his wife Rina, explained that Shah Rukh was about to video‑call their daughter, and asked her to get ready. At 4 am, Shah Rukh himself video‑called Myra.
Kohli summed it up, “He does things like that… you’re left speechless.”
So yeah, Shah Rukh Khan taught a fellow actor a polite way to handle a video call with a child. No formal conclusion, just an observation that even superstars mind the little things.
