South superstar Surya and actress Jyothika’s daughter Diya Surya has completed her graduation. She has studied from Mumbai’s Ascend International School. She is undertaking the University of California. Diya has graduated in International Relations with Economics here. This was a happy moment for Jyothika. Jyothika also shared a video of her daughter’s convocation ceremony with fans, in which Diya can be seen receiving her graduation degree. Apart from this, Jyothika has shared another video on her Insta story, in which she is thanking Diya’s teachers and the woman who has been the family’s long-time cook.
Jyothika says that the teachers and her cook have played an important role in Diya’s school journey. Praising the teachers, Jyothika wrote, “A good teacher is like a candle – he lights the way for others by burning himself.” Jyotika also thanked the cook who cooked and served food for her daughter from LKG to Class 12 and dedicated her daughter’s degree to her.

Surya’s daughter Diya will now go abroad for higher education
Earlier, Surya had revealed that Diya would go abroad for her higher education. The family has been living in Mumbai for the last two years to prioritize their children’s education and fulfill Jyothika’s wish to spend more time with her parents.
