In August 2021, a private MMS clip of Trisha Kar Madhu surfaced online. The video showed her in a compromising situation with a boyfriend and was said to have been recorded by a roommate early in her career. Trisha blamed industry sabotage for the leak, after refusing certain demands. She publicly condemned the incident, asked fans to delete the clip, and highlighted the general mistreatment of women in the Bhojpuri film sector. Legal battles over the matter are ongoing.
Akshara Singh has brought a separate controversy to the forefront. She accused Pawan Singh of physical abuse, threats to kill her, and coercing her into a “contractual relationship” that demanded she perform on stage with his feet nearby. According to Akshara, Pawan had forced her to sign the agreement, threatened her with death if she left him, and even circulated explicit material about her after she tried to end their relationship. She filed an FIR in 2019 for defamation, assault, and sharing vulgar content. Pawan has denied involvements beyond a professional context.
Adding to the drama, Pawan Singh’s second wife Jyoti Singh has claimed that Pawan treated her poorly, giving her abortion pills twice and subjecting her to physical and mental abuse. Their marriage, which began in 2018 after Pawan’s first wife’s suicide, has now seen divorce filings in 2022 and ongoing court disputes over maintenance and alimony.
Meanwhile, Ravi Kishan has faced rumors of a hidden second marriage. Though no court case has been filed yet, claims that he entered into a private marriage while still married to his public wife have circulated on social media and gossip outlets.
