The box office journey of Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ enters its final countdown. The film is now just Rs 3.65 crore away from the Rs 1150 crore net domestic milestone. That’s according to the latest numbers. And it has a clear deadline: its JioHotstar OTT premiere is locked for June 4, 2026.
The current tally stands at Rs 1,146.65 crore net domestic and Rs 1,798.62 crore worldwide gross. The overseas gross is holding at Rs 426.67 crore. So, the Rs 1,150 crore net domestic mark is in sight. It should fall within the next few days, analysts suggest.
But the bigger record, the one set by ‘Pushpa 2’, is a different story. That film’s net domestic gross of Rs 87.75 crore is now far out of reach before the streaming debut. That race is essentially over, lost to the calendar.
Looking back, the run has been historic. Week 1 delivered a staggering Rs 674.17 crore net. Week 2 added Rs 263.65 crore. By Day 11, the sequel had already surpassed the total lifetime gross of its 2025 predecessor, hitting Rs 840.20 crore. The film became the first Hindi film to cross Rs 1,000 crore net domestic during Week 3, which brought in Rs 110.60 crore.
The collections have naturally cooled. Weeks 4, 5, and 6 contributed Rs 54.70 crore, Rs 19.52 crore, and Rs 12.45 crore respectively. That pushed the cumulative net past Rs 1,100 crore. Week 7 and Week 8 added Rs 5.58 crore and Rs 3.89 crore, taking the tally to Rs 1,140.67 crore.
The daily drops are steep now. After a sharp fall on Day 61 (Rs 0.15 crore), Tuesday (Day 62) saw a bounce with Rs 0.22 crore from 408 shows. Wednesday (Day 63) collected Rs 0.20 crore across 262 screens by afternoon. The live tracking for Day 64 shows Rs 0.10 crore by the same time.
