The operation on May 21 led to the arrest of two accused identified as Prakash MD and Padamlal NM, according to officials.
Acting on intelligence inputs, NCB officers intercepted a truck with a Maharashtra registration number. The vehicle was carrying the contraband cleverly hidden inside 100 packets mixed with everyday items like detergent, toothpaste and hair dye to avoid detection.
Officials said the entire consignment was recovered from the truck during the raid.
The NCB statement highlighted this as a significant breakthrough in curbing interstate drug trafficking activities in the region.
Further investigation is underway to uncover the network’s wider connections and identify other key players involved in the operation.
