This time, the country’s famous banker Uday Kotak and his family bought almost all the flats in a building in Worli, Mumbai for more than ₹426 crores.

Earlier, the Kotak family had bought 13 out of 24 apartments in this building in January and September, and now they have also bought the remaining 8 apartments. The special thing is that for the first flat they had paid about Rs 2.72 lakh per square foot. But, now for 8 apartments, they have paid about Rs 2.75 lakh per square foot, this is a new record.

According to ET report, this deal was done for 8 additional apartments in 19 Shiv Sagar properties located in front of the sea in Worli, Mumbai.

Earlier, Uday Kotak’s family had struck a deal in January and September for 13 of the 24 apartments in the ground plus two-storey building at a rate of around Rs 2.72 lakh per square feet. There are 24 apartments in the Shiv Sagar building. Now only two apartments are yet to be formally sold to the Kotak family.

How big are the apartments

The largest apartment at 19 Shiv Sagar, spread over 1,396 sq ft, was sold for Rs 38.24 crore, and the smallest apartment, with a carpet area of ​​173 sq ft, was sold for Rs 4.7 crore.

Documents accessed by ET show that new deals were registered on April 8 and April 21 for apartments ranging from 444 sq ft to 1,004 sq ft, with prices ranging from Rs 12 crore to Rs 27.59 crore.
